Flower Face is the project of singer-songwriter and visual artist Ruby McKinnon. Her music moves between gothic folk, dream pop and cinematic indie rock. As a teenager, she released her first fully self-produced projects, ‘Fever Dreams’ (2017) and ‘Baby Teeth’ (2018), immediately establishing herself as a strong storyteller with a keen sense of atmosphere and emotion.With ‘The Shark in Your Water’ (2022), Flower Face reached a wider audience and received praise from outlets including Stereogum and Paste, who highlighted her sharp lyrics and compelling arrangements. On her latest album, ‘Girl Prometheus’ (2024), produced by Marcus Paquin (The National, Arcade Fire), it’s clear that what once started as a bedroom project has grown into an intriguing voice within the indie scene: personal, vulnerable and always intense.

The bands bring their extreme, visual sound worlds to life on stage, with Arottenbit joining as special guest.Master Boot Record’s glitchy computer metal blends heavy riffs and electronic beats with the retro sounds of vintage computers and chiptune. The driving force behind this synth‑metal project is Italian artist Vittorio D’Amore, whose love for computers runs through countless releases, including the recent ‘Hardwarez’. With that album the band previously played a sold‑out show at Melkweg, and after touring with Carpenter Brut and Igorrr, Master Boot Record now returns to Amsterdam.
