It’s dark, the bass thumps through your body, the music sets you in motion, and the people around you are bathed in red light. You feel boundless, becoming one with the crowd. But then something strange happens: your freedom of movement is disrupted by clumsy, drunken swaying, by people talking, or by those just standing still. Being aware of the people around you on the dance floor while still feeling completely free to dance however you like—that is what we strive for, and how we return to the true essence of a night out. On November 7th, the eclectic Rotterdam-based DJ and creative collective "AanTafel!" comprising Zena-Rae, LOTUS, and Leon is coming to Club Annie to get Amsterdam moving with warm, funky sounds. They are bringing along Antwerp’s DTM Funk, whose inspiring approach as a DJ creates space for house dancers and transforms the dance floor into a place for connection and discovery. Above all, this night is dedicated to dancing. Real dancing.
